We are currently looking for 4 volunteers to work in kindergartens - organizations we coordinate. Volunteers will be placed in Private English kindergarten Slniecko in city Tvrdošín (5 km from Trstená) http://jasle-slniecko.sk/ Volunteers will work there from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Volunteers will be assistants to the teachers, they will help them with the preparation of activities and programme for kids, with the teaching of English, taking care of them, going outside with kids, everything will be needed.
From time to time volunteers will help our coordinating organization to prepare some activities and mainly with the promotion of EVS in different events and in the schools among the students. Each volunteer will be responsible for his/her own mini project and for preparation and presentation of his/her country.
We are looking for 2 volunteers for 7 months: February 2018 - August 2018
2 volunteers for 12 months: September 2018 - August 2019

accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will live together in one flat or house - is everything needed there, wifi connection as well.
During the working days, food (lunches) for volunteers will be provided in kindergarten, during weekends they can go to the restaurant or cook for themselves. Volunteers will get pocket money as well as money for their food every month to their own bank account in the beginning of each month.
All travel costs connected with the project are covered.
Volunteers will work 5 days week/35 hours in total. Sometimes also weekends are needed.

volunteer profile
We don`t have any specific requirements - we are looking for young people who are ready to learn new things, who are open to new challenges and to new possibilities, who are open and friendly and like working with kids. Experience with working with children and young people is welcomed. Also, at least a communicative level of English is needed.
Because we are Christian Catholic organization tolerance to Christian values is needed and be open to help with this kind of activities as well.
