French volunteer wanted for EVS-project in Spain: Educational reinforcement and skills improvement for young inhabitants in excluded neighborhoods.
The "CONECTAD@S" project aims to give continuity to the previous project presented by our organization, in order to offer young Europeans the possibility to live a volunteer experience. The entities hosting these volunteers are located in the city of Valladolid; they are Casa de Juventud Aleste, as coordinating entity, as well, and Allende Mundi.
Both entities are located in neighborhoods with special social, economic and cultural needs, that is to say, inhabited by groups in social exclusion situations. There is a large number of ethnic minorities and/or immigrants.
OBJECTIVES:
- To promote learning by means of volunteering and experiences had during the project, in order to improve professional skills for a future job.
- To foster the feeling of associationism at the local, regional, national and international levels in which our project is moving.
- To promote volunteering by means of national and international entities for the knowledge and improvement of the current social situation.
- To facilitate exchanges between cultures in different countries in order to improve young people's development and thereby promote language learning and the wide linguistic diversity of the European Union.
- To collaborate in the European dimension of the partner entities and of the ones carrying out the project.
- To create synergies between different youth organizations and, starting from that, to acquire the resources and tools of other working methodologies.
- To participate in the development of skills and knowledge of the European volunteer by means of training and support provided during the process.
- To improve, as far as possible, the situation of the minors at risk of exclusion coming from the host institutions.
- To make the young people joining the project, both the young participant and the young volunteer, feel involved.
